I wrote these ads after visiting Cambodia, where there is still a huge problem with land mines. The mines are indiscriminate, unable to distinguish between a soldier during a conflict and a civilian stumbling upon one decades later. Asia Watch is part of Human Rights Watch. They want all countries to join the Mine Ban Treaty which bans the use, production, stockpiling, and transfer of mines.
